I bid on an auction of theres yesterday for one of these. My high bid was $100.00 cause thats what I think they are worth. They emailed me today, saying they have a motivated seller and need to sell now. They asked for an offer. I didn't bother cause I know they won't sell me one for $100.00 . These coins are likely to be a huge failure based on lack of sales on ebay. I would stay away until they come down to reality. I might even consider $200 just for nostalgia. But thats max.
If I say something in the woods, and my wife isn't around. Am I still wrong?
does it not read "100 coins" ? that would make the bid 10 bucks ea. course who knows what the reserve is. if they have gone through NTC and dates are good, could you lose a bunch @10-15 ea ?
Proof they are selling these coins for $1000.00 each at some coin dealers. If you can get them for $15ea then I doubt you will lose money. I will even buy one from you for 3 times that much. I also doubt you will trip the reserve
They have another group of 100 with a starting bid of $99,999.00. And, if you win them, they will throw in FREE SHIPPING. Almost too go0d of a deal to pass up.
Reading through there carefully, they state down in the "fine"print that it is a auction for one single coin, not 100 pieces like the title states. $100.00 would be a reasonable max bid. they are looking for suckers thinking they are getting 100 coins. Who needs a stupid wood display case and DVD with background info to go with the coin.
It actualy says both. At first it says it is one coin. Then later, it says that this is a wholesale lot of 100 coins. I think they copied the auction text from a single coin auction but then forgot to edit it.
It would be nice to have a piece of this history, but not at the prices they are going for.
