It's his biz and he can decide to sell to who he wants. I remember a thead not too long ago that I know that if I was on the recieving end of your slams, I'd block you as well. I haven't been active on this board for too long but from what I have seen of Russ's posts, he seems like a pretty good guy.

hey, if he's hanging onto things this long it just isn't worth it.

the ironic thing is that i've fairly complimented him for what he does and his abilities and i had contacted another member to broker a deal for Russ to photograph my set. then about 2 months ago i figured i better not do that and have since started talking to another member for that. i know i teased Russ and poked fun at him, jerked his chain, but this is silly.

he sent me a PM telling me off and blocking me at the time but i'd never bid on one of his auctions till now. oh well, i wonder what other members i've pissed off this bad!!

Perhaps he had blocked you and forgot you were on his block list? He may not even be mad at you anymore, and if you ask he may un-block you. It's easy to put someone on the $hitlist and then forget they're there. Just because you're still blocked doesn't mean he's still holding the grudge. Or maybe it does. Who knows, you have to ask him. I'm sure that starting this thread and linking to his auction isn't helping though.

..............and i'd like to set the record straght that i never at anytime asked the MadMan to bid for me, he has done so of his own volition!!

he's cheap too, my original bid that led me to the "you've been blocked page" was much higher than $28. Russ might stand to lose money on this deal.

of course, he could always come to his senses and unblock me followed up with an apologetic PM.

you evidentally don't read threads very often here. our blocker is one of the leaders of linking eBay auctions and e-mailing sellers who are doing something out of the ordinary. besides, it was meant more in the context of a humorous thread, lighthearted jest so-to-speak. judging by your reaction you could use a litlle loosening up, things shouldn't be so serious all the time.

besides, it's a nice coin, you should go look at it and enjoy.

i certainly don't consider Russ to be any type of wife. that's the puzzling thing about the whole "blocked" issue and the rather terse replies from some who seem to have an exposed nerve that was touched by this. perhaps they're perspective is one more closely related to personality. but, back to Russ.........i've acknowledged him here before and the intensity he brings along with what he's done within a short period of time in the hobby. it's just rather funny----to me, but evidentally not to Manofcoins and some others----that he would hold onto something done to him which he does with such ease.

bid on that coin, it's nice. then sell it to me!!
