1999 silver proof

  One might think the same thing about the 1995 silver proof set.
  
  It really comes down to 3 things:
  
  1. How many sets have been broken up
  2. How many people really want an intact set with original packaging
  3. Since the sets had a limit order from the mint, how long will it take for them to make their way from the countless closets to the resale market?

  UP, UP, UP!
  Lowest mintage for a popular 10 year series?????? First year! 805,000 mintage, next lowest mintage, 888,000.
  They have already sold over 500,000 sets of the silver quarters for 2004 alone. Buy the 11 coin set in silver and you will be OK for 2004.
  Buy all the 1999's you can afford.

  if one takes a look at the figures ICG, NGC, PCGS, ANACS they maybe able to get an idea of exactly how
  many sets were broken for slabbing...that doesnt include danscos and such

  Silver proof sets.
  
  Same place is selling 1955 flat pack proof sets for $165, mintage 378,200.

  That is a very high retail price. I guess high is relative, but the advertisers in CW run around 260 - 270 for a 1999 Silver Proof set (Paul Sims 269)

  Well I though I overpaid at $65 each.
