    Doug, while I agree with you in principal most of them are a waste of time for me, however since there are a number of folks that frequent this board that think otherwise you have to learn to accept the fact that they will be here. Occasionally they are educational and a lot of times these type of threads encourage participation by those who would not normally post for fear that their knowledge isn't as encompassing as others. Like you I could live without them as they tend to chase the others off the front page, but I also understand this is a forum composed of many different likes and dislikes. After a while you will become adept at predicting who will say what so you can quickly scan them. image

    I had at one time gotten tired of certian posts here, but got to where I just ignored the ones I didn't care to read, or the ones posted by certain people!

    I think this thread has just about run its course, but.... I feel that ebay threads are oftentimes educational and allow people to compare notes about the qualities of different coins and different coin sellers- so they're relevant to the U.S. coin forum. And if you don't like them, just skip them, because I doubt they're going away anytime soon. Ebay has had too big of an impact on peoples' coin buying habits and opportunities... image
