SMS cameo/deep cameo mirror depth

I've read that the mirror depth on Morgan dollars can be determined by how well you can "read" text at a certain distance. There is even a "dmpl meter" to help designate the coin! I've seen the photos on the mirror differences for sms cameo and deep cameo coins, but I was wondering if there are other ways to help make the designation. Specifically, I won a 1965 sms half on Ebay and I have it in hand. Believe me, though the Ebay scan doesn't show it, the half has the deepest mirrors I've seen in my search for cameos and deep cameos with a very frosty contrast. Of course I'm sending this one in to PCGS, but I'm wondering if I should get my hopes up for a deep cameo. I grade the coin in the MS66 range. I think it will easily grade cameo, but will not grade deep cameo. Damned nice score for $11 and change.
