Anybody know whether this eBay seller "Charon" is trustworthy?

I mean, I won this nice proof 1912A Prussian 3 Mark from him, but when it arrived, it was ... well ...

... um, er, eh ...

... (*whisper*) ... sl@bbed! Imagine my shock to learn that people think this is an acceptable form of shipping container!

It could be the "NGC PF-64" grade he claims it to be, but how can you tell through all that scratched plastic? Any opinions?

Wow! He did that to me, too! Took a perfectly good 1911 proof British half crown and encased it in a plastic tomb. I should warn all eBay members to beware.

Hey, no bellyachin' about it bein' entombed in plastic.

You had an opportunity to buy that very same coin raw from LordM, for less money, on a previous Sunday Swap...

'Twas one of my better FUN show purchases from this year. From a German dealer whose name eludes me (but who is certainly well known to some of our other Darksiders- a nice chap with nice prices.)

PS- never trust anyone who named himself after Hell's boatman. I never have gotten the story behind that!

It was "Big Gunther" the same guy who kept Cacheman as a plaything for two weeks before they found him wandering naked and smeared in peanut butter!
