Recieved this in the mail from Clankeye. Grade has been revealed by Newsman.

I recieved this 1960 Canadian Half from Carl. I would just like to publicly thank him for the kind gesture. It is a really beautiful coin. It is also the first Uncirculated Canadian coin that I have. The coin was graded by ICCS but he took it out of the holder so that he could put it in an album. I taped the envelop at the top so that it would not fall out and that is what you can see in the pics on the top of each pic. Let's have a guess the grade with this coin. I will post the answer of what it is graded tomorrow evening.

<< <i>Good to see you received the coin, Coinaddict. I must confess to ulterior motives. I see all those nice Franklin halves you have been acquiring on the liteside, and I think... we need Coinaddict on the Darkside. He would like collecting all those beautiful, affordable, Canadian coins. Or something else even darker perhaps.... because all of us darksiders know, it just takes a little taste to develop a hunger for... THE DARKSIDE!!!!

My eBay
Here are a couple quick pics of the way I collect those coins. I happened to run across some Wayte Raymond pages that hold Canadian mint sets on eBay one day. So I bought them, and decided to put together a nice collection of the coins 1960 thru 1967.
It's been a very fun little set to put together. Most of the coins have come from eBay in ICCS holders. I then take them out and put them in the album.

have are very lovely.
I don't want to give away CoinAddict's grade--but all the coins are brought together for a certain characteristic.
The PL coins of this era are really beautiful, and it's fun to be able to take them out and actually insert them in an album.
For a guy who had been doing liteside slabs for years, that was kind of a revelation for me.

The hardest coins to find have been the nickels. Not one of the nickels I have found in heavy cameo has graded above 64. I am still missing the 1960.
In the year 1966, the 50c and 25c are just not available in heavy cameo. I just found a 25c in cameo, and I felt like having a parade.
If you decide to do anything darkside, have fun Coinaddict. The Canadian coins are actually refered to as "Grayside" around here. But, lite, dark or Gray--enjoy it!
