I vote for yes.
Let the coins be made and collect what is right.
From a commerce standpoint, I am fine using what is there.
If something stops being made, maybe it will be more collectable, but, that doesn't mean I want it to stop being made.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

"Should money stop being made and used in circulation?"
Just a suggestion for what it's worth -- Be sure to spell-check your finished copy before turning it in. You spelled "article" a-r-t-i-c-u-l-e. I've been a magazine editor for 27 years and some us editors take spelling very seriously, because it can reflect the level of oversight and attention the author took in preparing the material.
Tubbs has the same rights you do. You don't like his topic, then don't open the thread.
You don't like the thread, don't read it.

From what I can see Coinguy1 hasn't even posted in this thread.

Not exactly the sharpest tack in the pack.
Cheryl- Check out Coinguy1's thread about "hit and run" attacks. Then you may begin to understand.
If he does as you suggested, what good are you?
(I used to write a weekly newspaper column, I LOVE editors. )

You wrote: "some us editors" when you meant "some of us editors." Neglecting to include prepositions where appropriate can reflect the level of oversight the author took in preparing the material.
Not a hit and run thread at all....and, you should be nicer to Cheryl whoever that is...takes people awhile to get used to who is who on here and, she probably didn't get a chance to read Coinguy1's thread because of all these separate "should they stop making...."posts.
1 post would have been fine....staggered out over weeks would have been too, but they keep getting in the way of good posts
Also, did the OP state in the threads that they were for an article? If not, do people find that rude? I would.
And, by the time that people get to a 3rd or 4th one, maybe they could care less about their answer and it would skew things?
I don't think it was well thought out.....IMHO
Would also be nice to know which high school newspaper this "articule" is for
