The main point of the thread was a suttle way to tell everyone to look past the title description "1882 CARSON CITY MORGAN DOLLAR EF-40 ". <<When you find a seller that catches your eye...open your other one....>>
I'm sure if you were looking for a GSA you would never have clicked on the title.
Did you ever do a search on "Silver Dolar","Silber Dollar" or "PGCS"? How about NCG?
These coins usually have less traffic or hits because of the "title" description. I have tracked and seen them go for less money also.
There have been many many finds on Ebay for varieties from members that I never knew about that I now know about because of their posts. (Some posted their finds and were congradulated by me). Coins that were commonly priced but worth alot more. Those members pointed out differences in the dies on the coins and I was pointing out in a suttle way that don't forget to weed through the titles.
If your right though, no more gloat threads from great deals on Ebay purchases.
No more gloats on commonly priced purchased coins that have a rare variety which are worth more reslabbed.
No more gloats from other members on cheap or undergraded coin shop finds, or show finds, that will be reslabbed and worth more.
No more gloats on a common proof set buy that will turn out a $400 Dcam slabbed coin.
As far as I'm concerned gloat away folks.
I want to see that SMS set for $15 with that Dcam Kennedy.
I want to see that rare coin pulled from the "junk bin" and purchased for scrap price.
I want to see that commonly priced coin purchase with the rare variety that attributed will pay the months mortgage.
I want to see that parking lot "buy" that was amazing.
I want to see the finds from the bank that came in the roll.
I want to see the DCam's that I can never find, but know they're out there.
I want to see everything......
Tom
I haven't given one of these out yet but,.... Tom ........................... YOU SUCK !!
Congrats on a great deal !!
