The mailman brought me this goodie today, and I thought it was worth a few pics. It is raw, and is weakly struck (normal for the date/mm), but it has luster out the yazoo, and is relatively mark free. There are several toning streaks that look like marks at 2:00 on the obverse, but the coin looks better in hand. It is a 35-S.

Very nice dollar!

I'm putting together a date set of the Peace dollars, and I've looked at hundreds of raw coins over the last few years.

It is indeed difficult to find well-struck examples of this coin. Yours is actually better struck than a lot of pieces out there, but 67 sounds a bit high, even though the coin appears to have very little chatter, and great luster.

I would expect a 67 to have better detail in the hair over Liberty's temple.

Placid, in hand, that's an area of heavy luster, but it sure looks odd in the pic. I'll try some better pics tonight. Thanks all, and JohnZ, I count it as a strong 5.
