Morgan VAM guys, Another opinion PLEASE, PICS

this "crack" as I call it is on an 1887. My pic taking ability isnt so good, but it is not a hair or anything, it was out of it's holder when I took it. It is raised from the small outter edge pointing toward the eagle inward toward the wreath.
Is this a known VAM type, or something worth sending in for investigation/confirmation?

It's a clash mark, very common, in my opinion.

Yes, that's a common clash area. Found on 1886 and 1921-D's as well. I'm certain there are other years.

After you get the Encyclopedia, look on page 119. It shows the overlay of the obverse and reverse dies, and you'll see that the clasmark is from the back of Ms LIBERTY's head.
