This reminds me of those Identity Theft commercials when you the people talk but it's the voice of the person who scammed them. Very scarey to see things like this.
I think "pleaded" is a less-acceptable pastense of plead. Didn't we cover that here before? I wish they would put me in charge of punishment for our young 19-year old.
You'd have to get in line behind me. Then, when I was done warming up with him, I'd go after the spammers.
Fine, but you better not cause him any significant nerve damage before I get to him. I'd hire a team of world-class surgeons to make sure that he's aware of every blessed second of his "correction".
Let the court administer justice. I suspect restitution will be a part of the sentence. Given that the youth has a whole life to live and lead, it would not be reasonable to punish to the extreme. And haven't we all transgressed? Punishment to fit the crime. Restitution, whether or not he must work a 100 years. That, and the police hussle, ought to scare him from another such endeavor. Jail time, even a felony on the record, does not fit the magnitude of the crime. No sense in ruining a youth that 'may' be a good citizen in the future. Our criminal justice system is focused on rehabilitation. A prison sentance would ruin the youth for life. When he got out, crime would be his first choice, especially with the street education provided by the prison system. No tolerance, one strike rules, do nothing to build a better citizen. IMHO.
I like the X-acto knife and blow-torch method of justice myself. But I'll agree we don't have to get extreme - none of his sentence would be carried out publicly.

"Pleaded"? The writer must have attended public schools.

Uh, yeah, okay.
Lock the punk up and throw away the key. Oh, and make sure he gets roomed with a giant homosexual named Bruno.
