My $7 Morgan is it a good?

<<better pics below showing the true color>>

Just bought this on Ebay this week and it came today. I'm better at judging higher grades.
Is this a good? or worse...either way it wasn't a bad deal.
thanks ahead
Tom

Based on your pictures and Photograde, it looks like an almost VG to me.

Good: Obverse: the hair above the forehead and ear will be worn smooth; Reverse: the rim will be worn down to the tops of the letters.

Very Good: Obverse: the deepest strands of hair will be visible above the forehead. The hair above the ear will be worn smooth; Reverse: Approximately one-third of the feathers will show on the eagle. The head and breast will be worn smooth.

The person he bought it from most likely had horrid pictures or didn't show the reverse. If he showed the reverse there would have been a lot of people in a bidding war.

Here's the auction for the unbelievers. It was 3 Morgans for $15 bucks. Add in the shipping it was averaged to $7 bucks a coin.
It's nice to grab a deal off Ebay once in awhile. I had to do a double take when I saw the price..

    Thanks for the opinions

A search of CC would not have brought it up... only a search of *CC* would have, b/c of how it was "worded"

If it isn't cleaned it's at least Good-4 and maybe Good-6. The reverse rims look too weak to make it to VG-8.

    Great buy!!!!
    When in doubt, don't.

right off the bat I'd say cleaned. Would a coin that old with that much wear be that bright and shiny?

Gladiator and all thanks for the comments.

Here's a pic of the coin that shows it true color.

Actually that angled shot shows the coins details better......

I figured you had to hit an incredibly low bin soon after auction start otherwise it never would have gone for that!

(If I remember correctly a while back when you got a GSA morgan for a BIN of like $20?)
