Does anyone actually watch those things? Hopefully so, and some good stuff will end during them. When are they?

It may actually be a great time for coin auctions. My gut feeling is that most coin collectors won't be very interested in the Academy Awards and may be more inclined to escape to eBay.

You should be more concerned about ending it during The Simpsons

Will there be even two people watching? I don't think so.

I like to look and see what the babes are wearing...

Makes as much sense as ending an auction in the middle of the night in my book...

I don't think you need to worry. No one that I know watches any of the award shows. My wife does like to watch the fashion police crap afterwards though. image

My wife is gonna be glued to the set for 3+ hours. Which means I can get some quality time hanging out on the PCGS boards image

I"ve heard of the academy awards, but I don't even know what it is. Why would we care? Does it deal with coins? Collleges? If it is on T.V., I won't watch it as I don't "DO" television any more as the internet has taken its place for me.

Speaking of auctions ending......who would agree that auctions ending on Sunday evening usually bring the highest bid, as compared to other evenings? I have found that ending coin auctions on Sunday evening bring a higher final bid.

I started a few auctions once at 4am Eastern time. (I work nights, and
was up on an off day.) Bad move. image I've learned to at least give snipes

I don't know, seems mostly the women watch the academy awards. I know I won't be watching...

I just have to ask you, what is a dude in Arkansas doing with Canadian large cents?

Answer: NO. I got better than expected prices for the coins!
