Most of the active users on this side of the street would appear to be coin people. Collecting is a lot of fun so the other people may well be having some fun but it's tough to believe it would be more fun than this.
Though it may be unlikely a lot of them are speculating about us. Not even two.
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose, Cardinal.
I agree. Well over 50% could be flushed and nobody would know the difference. Imagine all the non-collectors who register just to ask about a couple of coins they found. There are also people who end up getting sick and passing away. There are still yet others who kick the coin bucket over some raw deals and end up being disinterested. There are a number of reasons.
I have a forum which is much smaller than this one, subject is coins. There are 87 registered users, only around 15 are active. I would figure the percentage here to be close.
