Why would someone pay that much money for 479 wheat cents? I like them at much as the next person, but wow, that is a lot of money!

This topic has come up before....why do the state/gov't auctions for unclaimed or seized property always bring crazy money? Must be that they attract a lot of non-collectors to their bidding who drive the price up without really knowing what they are buying.
