  Top feather. Parallel=78. Inclined=79.

  Also, the breast is concave on the '78 reverse. Convex on the '79.

  My first post on the board.
  
  I wrote a little 52 page guide for the 1879s Reverse of 1878 Morgans.
  NGC, ANACS and SEGS will now attribute by VAM numbers.
  
  I have about 70 of them now, about 40 in various slabs.
