I think it looks like a type 2. I can't see any islands...anyone here know how to enlarge that portion of the pic so we can see?

I emailed the seller to see if he has some better pics.

It kinda looks like a 2, but it also kinda looks like a 3. The picture makes it to where you really cannot tell. I know for sure it is not a 1, though.

I don't think it's a type 2. I have some type 3's with very soft stikes on the islands and it makes you look twice.

I also see a bright spot right below Florida that has to be a reflection from the light he is using for the pics. What would cause the reflection? My guess is the side of a raised island.

Not a type 2 most likely a type III It looks like there are islands but the glare is not helping.

Looks like a 2, only see one island, full rounded earth.
Again without it in hand very hard to tell

Sure looks type III. And I bid accordingly. From the prices I've seen for type II in that condition looks like my AU will have to do for awhile.

There should be no islands south of Florida on a type II. Also, to me this is not inclused enough for a type II.

Type III 100% for sure. The type II has no islands period, so any islands are a quick tip to the fact that it is not a type II.

All Type I and all Type III have islands south of Florida. If they are all east of Florida, then it is a type I (Low Relief reverse), and Islands both east and west of Florida, are type III.

Sent the seller a note telling him waht type the coin is. We'll see if he changes his description.

I think the coins price tells us that most folks know the coin is a Type III.
