Why wouldn't they, think about it.

Marbury plays for Minn., they stink. He whines and he cries and he gets traded to the New Jersey Nets, when they all of the sudden start to stink. He leaves for Phoenix and New Jersey kicks a-- all over the place, yet Phoenix sucks.

People, Stephon marbury is the kiss of death for any team, a bad luck charm, a profesional overpaid jinx. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Look for things to turn around in Phoenix fast, and things are gonna get real bad in NY.

The spell has been lifted from Phoenix, mark my words!

lol, after marbury has left his previous teams those teams have done better, but new york will be making a run for the playoffs now, heres there lineup

and then Penny coming off the bench...not bad at all

Marbury will make his Knicks debut in the Garden when they play Jeff Van Gundy and the Rockets (Gundys 1st game back in the Garden)

Hey Vanilla, I'm not making this stuff up, check out his past, any team he's on goes down the toilet, while the teams he leaves have success. I'm not sitting here with a Stephon Marbury voodoo doll, he's doing it himself. I have no problems with the guy, he just doesn't do any team he's on any good! And if you're so smart about the NBA, I shouldn't even have to tell you that, because you would already know. Look how bad the Nets were when he was with them, I'd say they've done alright since he left.

lets see Marbury in Minnesota helped them to get to the playoffs for the first time

New Jersey he had no one good around him to help him out Martin was in his 2nd year and not that great plus he rebroke his leg again, He didnt have Kerry Kittles to pass to so no good shooters and Keith van horn isnt that great

Suns did bad the first year, called gettin use tonew players and team and then last year they did good made the playoffs again, this year Amare has been out and they need him bad.

Oh, I see, It's never his fault when his team sucks. There's always some other excuse, "Oh, Amare's hurt, well it's o.k. if we suck then, we'll just keep paying Marbury all these millions anyway."

Please? Wake up. What should I expect from you when the Nicks start to suck, "oh, it's not Steph's fault that Penny is getting old" or " It's not Marbury's fault the Nicks didn't have the right chemistry."

It's always something with that guy, glad he's not in Minn. anymore. Cried like a baby about Garnett's contract, like he was ever gonna be as good as KG anyway, Please! He still won't even talk to him when whatever team he is with at the moment plays the Wolve's. God, get over it.

Why is everyone hating on me? If he is so good, why is he always getting traded, if you had a really good player on you're team, wouldn't you keep him?

Theres no question Stephon Marbury is a very talented point guard. The problems that i've heard from him are more team chemistry troubles. Was listening to a local sport radio station today in Jersey and they were saying that he isn't the greatest locker room guys . Can't question the talent though

I was just pointing out things u did not seem to mention which was a lot, its not my fault Marbury is hella good and the people around him suck ass Marion is good but is never consistant, Marbury penetrates and had no once who can makes shots worth sh*t on any of the teams he was one. Now Allan Houston a good shooter is there so that he can pass to him knowing that he can actually make a shot unlike his past teamates. And talk about excuses you think EVERYTHING IS MARBURYS FAULT YOU IGNORANT STUPID A** MOTHER F**KER. Marbury get paid his millions because he is a damn good player. Nothing he does anyone ever talks good about, press hit him becasue he doesnt pass enough and shoots too much even though he averages 8+ assists a game that pisses me off. No matter what he does the press and people like you will still talk all the SH*T you can.

HA HA HA! Woo doggie are you mad! Hey, if people are talking about him, a lot of people like you say, then it must be true. Lets pick this discussion up at the end of the season when Steffie ruins the Nicks. That will give you plenty of time to come up with an excuse why they started sucking.

You know, never mind. No matter what he does, in your head he's perfect. Nothing he will ever do will make you think anything is his fault. If you saw him shoot somebody, and it was on video and the whole world seen it, and he laughed into the camera after he did it while the gun was still smoking, you'd come on here and say, "Well, you know, he scores a heck of a lot of points, which not everybody can do, I think we all have to forget about what we saw, it's not his fault, I mean, the guy had to die sometime!"

i dont think so, he'll be around allan houston which he can dump the ball out to alot and he has van horn who has stepped up his game...i see the knicks fighting for one of the last playoffs spots but falling short and next year (if they keep the team the way it is) ending up with a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs

Well now everybody thinks I'm anti Stephon Marbury, which I'm not. I just plain don't care. It seems to me that any team he ends up on starts to head downhill. I know he scores a lot of points, and he obviously gets a lot of assists which is a good thing, but he must be doing something wrong to not have chemistry with, well, anybody! Just stating how I feel. If we all agree'd on everything this board would be absolutely boring. Lets do this, I'll tell you the players I really admire and collect, and you all can bash them, so I don't have to keep bashing ol' Stephon for the life of this thread, which it looks like is beginning to be a very long life. And you really shouldn't get mad and swear at people on the internet. Just think, "I want to be calm" and then type a response that won't offend anybody. I mean, you don't want to end up being the next bobstar, he's way overstressed about the littlest things. So not everybody likes Stephon, He accepts it, so should you. Heck, I'm sure that the people on here that like me is well below 50%, and I can live with that. Not everybody likes Kevin Garnett, It's not gonna make me so mad that I freak out and really hurt someones feelings. I don't want to hurt you're feelings, I just don't think Stephon is good for anybodys team. I could be wrong, I probably am, but who cares. If the Knicks do good, come on here and make a thread and call me a fool and tell me I don't know nuthin', I'll just laugh and say I was wrong and you were right. And then I'll move on with my life.
