Can you identifty a sellers images...

airplanenutairplanenut Posts: 22,806 ✭✭✭✭✭
without seeing their ID?

I've been thinking about posting this, and then Russ said the following today:
"Some eBay sellers are very consistent in their image presentation. mnmcoin is one, jwcameo is another. Since both list coins I'm generally looking for, it's pretty easy to recognize one of their images when some toad steals it."

That took the cake, and I had to post...

There are some sellers who I find I can identify by a gallery shot without opening the auction page... I have on my list:
Russ (compucheap)
BigD5 (Darin-5)
Greattoning
mnmcoin (as said above)
JBSteven (JBSteven1)
Tonekiller (texasbulliontraders)
tonecoin2003 (well, that's for a different reason image)
wildwoodcollectibles (sometimes)

Are Russ and I the only ones who can do this, or do you notice the same thing? Who can you identify?

Wynn Carner. I think his images are distinctive. Adrian's are distinct as well.

I agree that I can usually pic sellers photos out without seeing who the seller is.

I agree with DHeath on Wynn and Jeremy with greattoning. Mine, however, are very distinctive. They're plum UGLY!...This is where the plastic and the label do all the selling..image

Jeff Werlin's photos are distinctive ... I can probably tell Russ and Morris, as well, by now.

I only recognize my photography for the most part. After a certain point, they are almost all the same.
