That half is from the Knoxville Collection. It was purchased by Legend and immediately resold. I got to hold it at ANA and it is drop dead gorgeous!!!!!

I have also seen that coin in person and the luster just jumps out at you. The scan
doesn't even begin to pick up the luster. This is an incredible coin and I was a little
shocked at the starting bid. Thought it would be much higher.

Anyone want to buy a Roosie set??.....

If I had the extra cash I would be all over it.

Help me to understand something though. "A buyer's premium will be added ...." Is that appropriate?

I realize this is a high powered coin, and maybe the folks interested in spending this kind of money wouldn't mind, but to me its seems whatever one's winning bid is should be a sufficient price. It's not like you have to pay for the services of a live auction; or is it????

edited to add: I just noticed it is a "eBay Live auction," but my question still stands.
