So nice, it's downright Brady Bunch nice...
  • for the lazy people here it is:

    WELCOME TO JIM'S TRADING POST

OUR MOTTO: ONE MAN'S JUNK IS ANOTHER MAN'S TREASURE

I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU FOUND YOUR WAY HERE PARTNER AND DON'T MUCH CARE BUT IF YOU WANT TO BID HERE ARE THE GROUND RULES:

    1. I CHARGE $4.95 FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON THE FIRST ITEM AND $1.75 ON THE SECOND ITEM BOUGHT SAME DAY, UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. THAT CHARGE IS FOR MAILING THE ITEM, FOR ME PUTTING YOUR ITEM IN A MAILER, LABELING IT, CARRYING IT TO THE POST OFFICE, PROCESSING YOUR ORDER, ANSWERING YOU STUPID EMAILS AND SO FORTH AND SO ON. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY IT DON'T BID!!!!

    2. YOU BUY IT, YOU PAY FOR IT, IT IS YOURS. NO RETURNS, NO NEGATIVES, NO COMPLAINTS, NO WHINING. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET THAT I DO GUARANTEE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU SEE, CAN'T READ OR HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT DON'T BID. YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY AN IDOIT AND I DON'T NEED THE HEADACHE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE RULE DON'T BID!!!

    3. ALL PAYMENTS ARE CASH OR MONEY ORDER. NO CHECKS. PAYMENT DUE IMMEDIATELY. AND, I MAIL YOUR ITEM WHEN I GET TO THE POST OFFICE WHICH IS ONCE A WEEK. AND, I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE WILL GET IT TO YOU. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE RULE, DON'T BID!!!!

NOW IF YOU HAVE DECIDED YOU WANT TO BID, YOU ARE BIDDING ON 1928 STANDING LIBERTY QUARTER, PROFFESSIONALLY GRADED BY ACG MS66. SEE PICTURE.

I admire a person for putting all the funny stuff that he did in the uaction but he pretty much guaranteed himself a no sale. Would you buy from this person? I wouldn't but it sure is funny to read.
  • I have to admit that I have wanted to write a much more strongly stated listing a time or two after dealing with buttheads. (Especially all the people that email me and offer me less than what I paid for a coin, telling me how FAIR their offer is.)

I don't know...selling ACG slabs from Hagerstown, MD? Sounds like a conspiracy image

I like the feedback "Unusual Ebayer" though!

  • Isn't there a successful diner where you go and get insulted by the people who work there? Maybe this guy has a winning strategy. I see a forum member has already bid image

Well, IMHO he made a false statement when he said it has been "proffessionally" (sic) graded by Accugrade. But, I do like "straight-talkers".

  • I tell ya....all in all...buyer beware, but that SLQ does look very nice...yes ACG, probably subtract 1 or 2, but a nice looking looking coin.....Mike
  • What a Putz!! image
  • it seems as though he's wise beyond his 51 ebay sales.
he wrote what most sellers would like to write but fear for rocking the boat. their own boat.

  • I liked it. The only problem, "proffessionally graded by ACG". Contradiction of words.

    Hmmm, that's actually true.

When I see an auction like that, and I get the feeling the seller would be difficult to deal with, I start thinking about closing the window and moving on to another auction.

And then, I DO IT image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

He's obviously French but I can't remember exactly what "I doit"
means. Something along the lines of "I said" if I remember from my high school french class.

    I doit and you DONIT.
