Hmmm.....I still am waiting for a resolution on the status of the 1856 flying eagle cent are far as mint state versus proof as far as PCGS is concerned.

Joke time.............Hmmmm, I like the Socrates and Plato one the best for all of 2003! Thanks to the poster (who couldn't even remember he posted it) who posted the great story about it!

I learned the ebay RAW Coin Grading System.

Gem BU=AU at best
Choice BU=AU at best
BU=AU at best
Uncirculated=XF to AU (Many Cleaned Coins)
AU=XF at best
XF=F to VF (with an outside chance at a 40--The lottery has better odds)
VF35=fine
VF30=fine
VF25=VG to fine
VF20=VG at best
F=no better than VG
VG=AG to G
G=anything upto AG
AG=Sometimes they get this one right , but still over graded in many cases
Fair=Poor or less (sometimes this one is right, too)
Poor=it is hard to over grade this one, but...
