booms: Yikes! Is the paypal fees that much for a $1400 coin?
A little trick. I have a personal (non business non upgraded) paypal account that only accepts paypal funds and funds from checking and savings accounts. No credit cards accepted. Still free from any paypal fees. Paypal keeps trying to get me to upgrade (meaning start paying fees). I have refused.
xpipe: Scanners can sometimes make silver coins look devoid of any luster and also make them look much more heavily toned. Indeed I am having trouble getting a handle on boom's quarter that he sold since it looks washed out. But I have seen that "look" often with HP scanners as I have one also and want to throw out the window.
On the other hand, it looks like the other two quarters including the one I posted were the beneficiary of getting florescent lighting which makes silver look better than natural or incandescent lighting. Furthermore, the NGC quarter I posted looks like it has been dipped recently. Too new and too white looking.
