I was surprised no one else had already listed, so here goes:

1. Round
2. Octagonal
3.Elongated

Actually those are the three types of coins I currently have in my "collection," the Octagonal being some California fractionals along with a Territorial 1852 $50 gold slug and the Elongated coming from the Darkside in the form of a Japanese piece.
