I don't think that it's neccessarily that much of a rip-off. It's just a little over $1 each. It doesn't seem to be junk silver. There's a lot of older dates, and the coins appear G and better. I wouldn't buy it, but I don't think it's that bad. What do you guys (and gals) think a more reasonable price would be?
I sent the buyer an email asking if he would sell me some of the 30-D's. I've always wanted one but I've never seen one or seen one advertised before now this auction supposedly had four of them in the lot. No 23-D's though, still need that one.
That auction is not a bulk silver lot of common Mercury dimes. Many of those dates are worth a few $ in good, and most are worth near $1. 10x face is a fair price.

Well I guess it all depends on how you define the term `junk`
