Toned standing lib quarter

Haven't run across many toned coins in the portion of the inherited collection I am in the process
of examing,so this one kinda stood out.
Scan does it no justice at all - It practically goes phychadelic in differnt angles of light.
Found a couple dozen very nice Merc dimes too I'll post a couple of pics later.

Thanx - I think the whole SL concept was great, but it sure seems they were prone to wear perhaps more so
than other designs.
Out of 2 rolls I examined so far,I've found maybe 3 that would be close to UNC - But theres much to be said
for a worn coin also.
I never really though about it till now,but I think I just put my finger on why old coins are so much more
special than modern ones - Premium value aside.
Back then,we honored ideas, values and national identity on our coins.
Now,its individual men/woman.
Don't get me wrong,I have nothing against our founding fathers,or great leaders of the 20th century,
but in so many ways this country needs to get back towards its roots, and I really think replacing individuals
on our coins with symbols of our countries heart and soul would be a great place to start.
