Just got a beautiful Original 1953 Double Mint Set in the mail today.

All I can say is I with I had a digital camera so I could post some pics. I will try to pick one up on Monday so that I can show you the beautiful toning on these coins.
About half of the coins are going to PCGS and I truly believe that many will grade 66 or higher, they are that nice.

One of the '53 "P" Franklins has got to go MS-66 FBL. Much nicer than many MS66-Coins I have seen.
The fields are nearly flawless with the exception of one minor mark on the reverse to the "NW' of E in E Pluribus Unim.
Two very minor ticks on the Bell Beam. A couple of minor tics in Franklin hair behind his ear.
Beautiful light Gold, Blue, and Purple Rim Toning with knock out luster.
The "S" Franklins are typical non FBL. I'd say one's a 65, the other a 64.
Both of the "D" Franklins have very strong bell lines. Both 64 quality and one would have a shot at 65 on a good day.
I tell you what though. As much as I love Franklins it's the Quarters and the Dimes that get me excited about this set. (Next to the "P" Franklin)
Many are '66 quality with a shot at 67. Beautiful toning and dripping with luster.

<< <i>Is the 53-S FBL?????? >>
That's what I was wishing
But no
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
<< <i>Are the 53S dimes Full Bands? >>
One is really, really close. Both of the "D"'s look like they are.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
