First Flight Havles Finally Arrived !!!

The small order I placed for the 2003 First Flight coins is FINALLY complete. I ordered them the day before the prices were bumped up. I received the gold eagles almost immediately, then a month or so later the dollar coins arrived. Yesterday, the halves arrived, and personally I think they are the best looking coins of the three designs.

Sorry, I need software to scan images. I have Windows EXCEL, and a HP-psc-950 multi "printer/scanner/copier/fax" but I can't use the scanner part. One of these days.....

I am really sorry for you who must wait and wait. I got ALL of mine within a week, and several in the first few days. Of course, I had George W. Bush order them for me.

When the designs were first published in Coin World, I really thought the Wright Brothers Monument was the design selected for the gold Eagle. As it stands, they are all good looking coins ( none of them were as good as they could have been, but they'll holder at least in a "68" ). I wouldn't send them back for replacement unless they were damaged. I've heard of too many horror stories about US Mint returns.

I should not have waited till the last minute to send in my order, that's why its taken as long as it has for the half dollars to arrive. I ordered three of each ... one for my raw book, one for encapsulation, and the last one to sell ( eventually ) if the prices ever go up so that it'll defray the cost of the original purchase.
