Unclebubba's coin attribution method

It's small compared to the 1857.image
1842-O "small date quarter"
Uncle bubba was very rude when I informed him this wasn't the small date variety 1842-O Seated Quarter.

    Ray-

You are such a sharpie image

What's even worse about this auction description is that the guy is way out of touch with what a real 42-O SD is worth. Speaking of which, I got a question for you - in your experience, how well struck do these come? Briggs seems to say that most of them come well struck, however there is a nicely toned one on the market right now which is not so well struck. Is it worth waiting for a well struck one?
