Go to the bank and get a bag of cents...it'll keep you busy for quite a while and you might just find a decent doubled die in them.

1943D Merc in PCGS-66FB. This is the highest quality and most common date in the series, so you can get an exceptionally nice and quality gem as a superb representative type coin from this series., but then again I have a slight bias.image
  • A nice Morgan dollar in a PCGS slab. UMMM, by the way I.............image
What is money, in reality, but dirty pieces of paper and metal upon which privilege is stamped?
  • Ok today I looked at a 1943merc in ms65fb (pcgs even)cool but it didnt catch my interest. But what does would be some wheat cents a 1000 of them would be nice and I could while away the winter looking through them. But I dont want to have to fork out 50$ bucks for them knowing very well that they have been looked through. Sooooo im still looking for something to buy before christmas.

Take the one coin that you have with the best chance of upgrading (we each have a couple) and send it in to PCGS. Make sure that the next grade up is a nice leap in price. You might be able to leverage that $50 into several hundred bucks.
