Y'all are funny

it's quite simple, really:

if you want to see a lot of dealers with nice coins at big shows

psst

DON'T GO ON SUNDAY

hopefully many, many people will read this and learn a simple truth that can save them from wasting a day of their lives.

(by the way:

it's nobody's fault,

nobody's right or wrong,

IT WILL NEVER CHANGE.)

all right, people, there's nothing else to see here, let's move along.

we now return you to the regularly scheduled flames of "ignorance" and "high horses..."

How about all you dealers come have a show in Japan. More exactly, MISAWA. image Ok....Aomori (the prefecture capital and biggest city in the north) or Hachinohe, another big city just south of here. Make it a week long show, including Sunday, and I bet it would be fun and a great turn out. image

Don't attend on Saturday either. Rightly or wrongly if you are going to a major show either show up Thursday or Friday or just don't go. Don't believe the advertisements, these are not 4 day shows they are two day shows.

ACTUALLY, I learned that a long time ago. For the one major show here in the Cincinnati area, Sat. is still an ok day to go but Fri. is the best.

This is especially true for the Long Beach show.

Until the show promoters decide to go ahead and drop Sundays.

Then the dealers will leave Friday night or early Saturday.

Indiana State dropped Sunday a few years back. This year 10% of the dealers left Friday night and about another 10% early Saturady morning. The show was approaching half empty by 1 PM Sat.

It's a vicious circle, Dealers leave early because collectors don't come the last day and collectors tell each other not to bother coming the last day because the dealers are gone. So the collectors don't come and the dealers leave early.
