This is the first type 2 that I've ever gotten from an Ebay lot. This seller apparently does not search his lots:

    mass,

I'll go 61 seeing the marks on the field and face.

What's your guess? Pm would do fine.

Is it just me or does this coin look to have poor details, as if poorly struck? Just a newbies opinion.

Almost all of the type 2s are in crappy condition making it very tough to find them in gem.

I'll say 62 or maybe 63. I'll bet those marks were on the planchet and not struck out.

Are these Type 1 or Type 2? LINK
Any idea on grades......I'm trying to figure out what coins to submit to PCGS for my free submissions.

Heres the link to my online photo album.......I'm going to submit the gold coins under express but still have not decided which of the other coins I should submit for free grading.

Meta, none are type 2s, they all have islands.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Meta, those Ikes would not be worth certifying. Only the Type 2 is worth a premium in typical condition, the others need to be near-gem or better.

Here's the attribution info I put together:

    All type 3.

Buy a PCGS 1972-P type 3 MS64 from ebay which would cost less compared to the shipping+slabbing+shipping fee.
Also, none of the three comes close to MS64.
