    Actually, it's a fairly valuble service for people buying older wax; it's more of an issue of guaranteeing authenticity over anything; seriously, you wouldn't want to shell out 8 grand for an 86-87 Fleer basketball box only to realize that somebody's pulled out some of the MJ cards or replaced mint copies with EX-MT ones image

    you would think there would be a better way to go about it. It is just so ugly. If I were to shell out 8K I would make sure I knew about what I was buying, I would be a self-proclaimed expert like those guys.

    Allen - you can become an expert who can tell by examining a pack, but how would you be able to tell on eBay? Even if the seller's scan is fantastic, he could send a different pack/box.

    I wouldn't buy vintage wax off ebay. unless it is a seller I have had good experiences with or knew, it is just asking to get burned
