Submission advice for my quarterly freebie

My Dad has a screaming red, gem BU 1909 VDB. I'm going to send it in for him under my quarterly PCGS grading freebie.

Can I also send in other coins for economy grading on the same invoice? Has anyone ever done this before? Or can I only send in the free coin on it's own invoice? I would like to take advantage of already paying for the shipping to include other coins.

Thanks for your responses.
Tom

I've only sent in 1 qtrly freebie on it's own invoice. The others have been added to an invoice. Just make sure it's noted as the qtrly freebie!
Keep the # of coins correct, but subtract the amt of one coin in the $ total. It's always worked for me!

I just submitted a 95-S clad proof set, including the Lincoln, all on the same sheet; however, in your case, I would submit the other coins on a seperate sheet as specified by them. We don't want them confused; hence, the possibility of them screwing us on the grade because were screwing with their heads...image

I very highly doubt they honor that as a freebie... I think only the 1909 counts

Please tell me more about the "quarterly freebie", I'm in at the platinum level, but this is the first that I've heard of it.

First you have to find out what the free coin for the quarter is and if you have one that qualifys and want to get it graded for free write “ Free Coin for Quarter” on the submission form.

Thanks, I do recall seeing that perk. Is the quarterly coin of their choice posted on the site or are members notified by email?

Is the freebie this quarter any Lincoln or just the 1909?

    Quarterly Collectors Club Grading Special
One hundred is your lucky number for the fourth quarter of 2003! Collectors Club members can send in any coin that celebrates the 100th anniversary of something for free certification by PCGS. This offer is good from October 1 through December 31, 2003. All you have to pay for is the postage. What coins qualify? The Alabama commem, the Arkansas commem (to name a couple of the many commems) and even the 1909 Lincoln cent (the 100th anniversary of Honest Abe's birth). Each coin (you're limited to one, of course) will be graded and authenticated through the Regular Service, which takes 15 business days. This offer is for Gold and Platinum Members only

    Thanks!

I sent in 3 seperate submissions in November and forgot about the quarterly freebie. Oh well! I was going to send in some more coins in December so I'll add the freebie to that.

Oh CRAP! Will they contact me via email to remit the other $12.00 for grading fees? No wonder I haven't received their email expressing their receipt of my submission...#@&&##**#...image

100 years of anything, so that's basically everything.

If you want a 1919 coin graded, find something stupid that happened in 1819. Every coin celebrates something.

I might send in a coin dated 1856.

That would mark 100 years before I was born. image
