Saw an interesting 1943 Merc dime today on ebay. The seller was stating that it was a MS64/65 proof. The picture looked real good but what made me leary was the starting bid of $1.00. There was a minute left and still no bids and I almost picked it up. But I had a bad feeling about it. It could not have been that easy...I mean $1.00 for a Proof MS64/65 1943 Merc dime???
