I purchased 3 MS67's from mitch and used them as a grading set. I thought for sure these were gimme 67's. They were better than all three of the 67's mitch sold me. I must be looking at these wrong or something. I just don't get it. They are technically near perfect. Oh well live and learn.

Don't be too hard on yourself, everybody has been getting hammered lately. I consider myself pretty good at grading my specialty and, in the past, my results at PCGS have verified this. Not on my last submission!

Brian: Let's hope they were better than the "super low end MS67" coin in the grading set, but, to tell me your (3) MS65FB were better than the nice MS67's in the grading set - geez!! Sounds like you probably should just crack them and resubmit them again?
I had a "bad day at the office" on copper as well today -I got nearly all the coins coming back MS66RD I was shooting for MS67 on. But, on another batch yesterday, I pulled (5) nice MS67 Wash quarters including a couple better date coins from a raw batch I submitted. You know how it goes

Mitch - All three of those (grading set) coins had marks visible to the unaided eye, yet the three I sent in only minor marks were visible to the aided eye (10X). The strikes were good, obviously with the FB designation, on tough dates. All thee are as original as can be, I just don't know what. Maybe when I get them back I will figure it out. I sould send them in for Prs. review so I can get the lesson. Its a new series for me so there is bound to be a learning curve and I am probably on the steep part.
Copper has been tough the past few months. It seems like every time PCGS hires a new grader you can expect hard graing on copper for 4-6 months. Maybe in the spring I will resubmit.

They were Roosies. I have Lincoln's down pretty good, I just fall apart when it comes to anything besides Jeffs and Wheat Lincoln's.
I can think of a dozen reasons not to have high capacity magazines, but it's the reasons I haven't thought about that I need them.
I have difficulty with "luster" and "eye appeal" which are needed to bring above 65 (so I am told)
the more luster and the more eye appeal -> higher grade
