atarian....It looks like it has some rim damage above WE on the Obverse. Sorry, but it is hard to tell what the coins surface looks like from that photo.

i noticed that. much bigger than the 1885 i was fussin about. hmm he calls it a xf with the detail of AU cause of the rim. heres his site http://www.freewebs.com/aaacoins/index.htm hes a very smart guy has never lead me wrong. always able to give good advice. he told me to think hard abuot this since i said i was interested. so here i am have you people bounce ideas off of me

This is just my oppinion, but I would hold out for a problem free 1914-D. You might be glad you did when it comes time to sell.

I would say it looks maybe VF35 to XF40.

VF 25-30. I'm also not crazy about the scratches on the obverse.

But I'm not crazy about circulated coins in general, so I'm very picky.

Scratches are too deep for my taste. You can get a much better one w/out such major problems. XF in wear, but net VF.

I am not sure of the grade, but the nick and scratches could hold it down a bit.
