Santa Clara show -- pretty darn good!!!!!

I just returned home from the Santa Clara coin show. Is the coin market RED HOT? I don't know and I'm not particularly wild about that term anyway, but I sold more cool coins (in terms of dollar volume) on dealer setup day alone than I did during the entire course of the last Long Beach coin show -- and that was an awfully good show. Really nice coins sold for very strong prices -- consistently! Thanks to all our dealer and collector customers (you know who you are) for your patronage at the show.

Thanks for the report, this seems to be indicative of the market as a whole. I always enjoy coin show reports. Keep them coming.

Moral of the Story is: "He who looks at the most coins, will probably find the most interesting ones". If you apply good legwork and work the bourse floor and the local coin shops it usually pays off with a gem or two.

I find that the harder I have to search for a special coin -- the more I appreciate and value it when I find it...

Lest I lead you astray -- I really work hard at locating cool coins (although unforseen circumstances have put me in the right place, at the right time on occasion).
