OK, since I know it was purchased in that holder, my guess is that Russ was too busy looking at the coin to notice the holder. Isn't that what we're supposed to do? image

    Hey- it's a pretty coin.

SEGS gets dissed too often. Maybe they deserve a lot of it, but they ain't ALL bad. They aren't in the NTC/Trugrade/ACG class, at least, and I like 'em better than PCI.

  • Looks pretty nice.
I wouldn't mind having that coin.
    Hmmm...

Yep... I thought the same thing. Hmm. Looks correctly graded to me, too. Maybe even 62 quality?

    Why do you say that?

SEGS gets it right more often than PCI/NTC/ACG. The big difference, though, is that they aren't slimeballs like the other three. It's a nice coin that really does look better than the grade of MS61.

have several. One of them is accurately graded, the others overgraded. Fabulous holder, though.

SEGS does okay on a lot of different series. On old copper, they mark on the holder if it's been messed with. I like that.

    rainbowroosie,

The coin is not AT. I had some concerns myself so I took it and some others to the last show I went to to get opinions from some dealers. I got thumbs down on some, which aren't going to be sold. This one got thumbs up.
