    PS: If they bought from Littleton, I can see how they might get O and D mixed up.

    What happened gsaguy, did you have one of the "C"s rubbed off from a "CC"? I know...you're talking about the "C" mintmark on a gold coin!

    Nope, it's a Morgan.

    The die was clogged and one of the C's doesn't show. Cool coin.

    I've never seen an 1885-D Morgan, but apparently an 1892-D Barber quarter is not hard to find... image

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
