Loaded up on Ikes today

To start this thread... I have never before bought an Ike dollar (except the ones that come along for a ride in proof and mint sets) and as of yesterday, didn't expect to for a while. But I'm a type collector and sooner or later I would need to find some choice ones for my collection. But when opportunity speaks, I listen.
Last night, I got an e-mail from our own Ike expert, Supercoin, that he was putting some of his hold-back coins for sale on his site. I couldn't pass up the opportunity and bought 4 of the 5 Ikes I need for minor type varieties. (Still need a 1976 silver). Each of these is special in it's own right. I included Supercoin's description as I could not do them the same justice. Can't wait to get them in the mail in a few days! Enjoy...

1971 PCGS MS63 - Beautiful concentric rainbow toning on both sides, faint purple and blue with yellow and orange on rims. Obverse is fairly accurate in the photo, reverse has more color than photo shows, particularly the center which is a faint purple. Some typical planchet roughness on reverse. Pretty coin!
1972-S Silver PCGS MS68 - Deep mildly reflective luster, very different than the typical satiny luster for this date, and impressive looking. Exceptional strike and mark-freee surfaces as well as you'd expect from the grade.
1976-D Type I PCGS MS64 - Beautiful softly glowing gold luster, with some hints of blue around obverse rims. Excellent strike and with the exception of one bag mark on the lower right corner of portrait (barely visible in photo) very clean for the grade as well. Better eye appeal than many higher-graded coins for this date.
1976-D Type II PCGS MS64 - The single most dramatically prooflike Ike that I've ever handled, with almost a chrome-plated appearance. Highly unusual, if you're putting together a prooflike Ike collection, this will be the one to judge the others by!
Check out the reflectivity on that last one. Yowzer. There were also some blazing toned coins (can't used the name since it seems to be banned), but $2,000 is a little steep for me.

The Ike Series with its many variations and display of appeal can be attractively addicting.

Wow!!
Wow!!-I've seen this look on this date before, but not on one so clean nor quite so dramatic!
A neat way to do it though, you'll be getting some atypical types.
