1955 Double Die Question

I was watching a movie and this one guy says that he has a 1955 double die cent, Denver mint. I thought all the double dies came from Philly. Did Denver produce any double die cents?

According to coppercoin's site http://www.coppercoins.com there are a number of double die varieties with a D mintmark.

I'm not a copper collector, but CD's site is an invaluable resource for both copper collectors and those with an interest, like me.

Thanks for the plug folks...the 1955D-1MM-001 is known to have sold (realistically) for as much as $40 in BU, and unrealistically (by mistake, I would presume) for as much as $700 in AU, slabbed by ANACS.

There are a few different rather minor doubled dies for 1955D both obverse and reverse, but the one that suprises many is the SECOND doubled die obverse for 1955P cents which is actually MUCH rarer than the biggie. It typically sells (when offered - not often at all) in BU for as much as $500 but few people seem to even know it exists.

I have an example of a very nice doubled die REVERSE on a 1955P cent as well.

Lots of 'em out there, not JUST the ones you see in the cherrypickers' guide or in the Red Book.
