...Sincerely terrific! He always thinks of me when he has extra auction catalogs. Just got another batch from him today. He's a treasure to have on the boards and is a veritable fountain of technical knowledge.

    Michael is a true asset to the hobby - he knows more stuff in his pinky than most of us will ever know. And he's straight forward - if you have a crap coin, he's not going to sugar coat the fact. Sometimes I wish I was as upfront as he is - but some people can't handle that and wind up flaming him which is doing a disservice to themselves and to the hobby. If you don't want to hear bad news about a coin then don't ask - if you can take it then ask and hope that someone like Michael is looking in and can give you some honest and upfront advice.

    Michael is a selfless, wise and endless source of wonderful knowledge about this hobby. I owe him a great deal, and he'd never think to collect it.

    I miss him not being on the boards as much as he used to, I don't know anyone else on the forum who's collecting goals come closer to mine then his [except I have less money to pursue mineimage].

    I always love the pics of his new coins. If he ever becomes a dealer he would definetly have me as a customer.

    I agree, his enthusiasm is catching! I share his tastes for the most part too. Michael is a boon to the hobby and I consider him to be a friend of mine.

    Michael has always taken the time to answer my questions and give me his opinions about coins that I am bidding on. He knows so much about the coins I like, eg., Barbers and Seated Liberty coins that he is a most incredible asset. I would never bid on a coin without asking his opinion first. He is a very selfless, valuable member of the forums. Thank you Michael, I'm glad you are my friend.
