Linking E-Bay auctions

I read Russ's explanation about how to link images to here, but everytime I do it says the file size is greater than 50k and I can do it. How do you compress the file or do whatever to link? Thanks, Mike..
Im trying to link an ebay auction.

Are you trying to link the actual auction page or the picture from the auction?

To link to the auction do the following:

1. Bring up the auction in a seperate page and copy the URL for the page
2. Start a reply
3. Click on the HTTP symbol above the reply box
4. Paste in the URL for the auction (hit enter)
5. Give the link a name (hit enter)
6. Finish your reply

the URL will then be linked from the reply and all folks will have to do is click on the link to see the auction.

You might as well just link to the auction because it is more informative.

If you just want the photo, you have to shrink/compress the photo, or else link it to a file on your site, or wherever it's stored.
