Any ideas on this?

Any help on this would be appreciated. It appears to be a bronze medal with incredible detail, especially on the reverse. It is just shy of a 1/2 inch thick. I put a Washington next to it to show its size. Its big enough to make a great hood ornament on HepKitty's new T-Bird. Any ideas?

Bite your tongue!!!
That is indeed a nice medal and a rare one. I'm not very familiar with Vatican issues, but I believe that is the provenance of this one. Bianchi was a noted Italian medallist and certainly the quality speaks for itself. If you decide to not keep it, let me know!
