Submitted on October 23, and grades received today.

1909 VDB MS 64 Red
1909 VDB MS 66 Red
1979-S SBA MS 68 DC
1970-S MS 64 Small date===Used to be in a 65 slab, but felt it could grade higher. Live and learn.
1960 D/D Small date/Large Date==anybody know what this coin is worth????
1909 VDB MS-65 Red
1931-S 1C Artificial Color-Still don't understand this, why would anyone tone this coin???
1931 10C MS 63 FBL

The results for me depend on what I was hoping for. What I do before submitting is make a list of what grade I am hoping to get. Maybe make another column next to the grades on your next post and list what grade you were expecting. For me that is a good may to analize submission results.

NC Coin, I understand what you are saying, but I'm not sure I can accurately grade these coins. I think I could guess and come within a grade or two, but I'm never sure. I seem always confused as to what PCGS is looking for, luster, strike, and what is the determining factor, or all of them. For instances the 1931 Mercury was actually right out of an original roll. There were no visible marks and sure appeared to me to be at least MS-65. Obviously not!

Hey, big E. The 1960-D/D Small Date over large date does have submission number from PCGS. Unfortunately PCGS does not have a price guide for this coin.
