who cares! ngc sucks, imo. collect the coin ,not the holder. proof sets were never certified a grade by the mint anyway, so by taking them out of the government issued holder, they are no longer proof sets but NGC sets. The whole idea of a proof set is that it was sealed at the mint.I only collect pcgs holdered coins, why bother going through the cross over expense.coins just look better in a clear, pcgs single coin holder.
Its just I cant afford any mistakes. And PCGS has never disappointed me. The coins just seem to look better in a PCGS holder. And I sold off almost all of my NGC slabs cause they seem to all have some annoying nicks in them . Now nicks and abrasions are part of the hobby, but on the NGC coins I sold, they seem intentional, like some kind of pattern, not random bag marks. At any rate, I really like the PCGS clear slab, guess cause it reminds me of clear plastic quarter holders when they are stacked, if you remember them. They just seem very financial looking!!!.The NGC holder is over done or maybe over kill if you prefer. But this doesnt mean I wont examine a coin in a PCGS holder before I buy it. I most certainly will !! But i`m not a dealer, so I can be demanding. I only buy graded coins I like, In PCGS holders . But I can understand why some may like NGC better, it all a matter of taste.

Nope, you only collect PCGS holders... clearly you have already discounted every non-PCGS holder, and thus coin, as being inferiror...
Like slammer said, that's quite hypocritical...
