Anyone know what a 1974-D DDO Kennedy Half Dollar would be worth in PCGS or NGC ms64 or ms65?

    Charlie,

A.W.Coins just sold a 74-D DDO in PCGS MS65 on ebay for $230. That coin in 4 routinely sells for between $50 and $90. Wondercoin had one for sale on ebay last month in 64, but I didn't watch it close.

    Hello,

About 2 months ago I sold an NGC MS64 for about $90. I believe this coin is more plentiful than most believe. Many are still found in 74 Mint sets. Hope that helps. If you have a 65 or higher the prices are much steeper of course.

In the first 200 1974 mint sets I looked at I found only a single DDO Denver half. Since then they've
been appearing a little more frequently, but they are still pretty tough. All of the mint sets have been
getting a little harder to find in the last year and the '74 is one of the harder ones.

Most of these that I've seen are only around MS-63 or even MS-62. All the '74-D halfs are tough in gem
condition, but the DDO is especially tough.

These do appear as circulation strikes also, but probably gems are even more difficult here.
