"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."

    Ken,

Make the spots disappear and it's a solid MS67 Cam (assuming no hairlines). The mirrors are fantastic. The frost is too light on the portrait based on the pic to dcam, but the mirrors make the coin truly exceptional. It's a keeper. I'd let NCS do the work. Dipping it will ruin the mirrors.

    Jeremy,

63? Where do you get 63? The coin is a solid 66 plus.

    Ken,

Be very careful when conserving these. Pay attention to what Don said:

For some reason with many, (although not all), of the SMS coins dipping changes nice glasslike mirrors in to frost filled fields.

NCS should be able to take care of those milk spots, they don't look too dark... Good luck.

Thanks for the very helpful information Russ and Don. I'll be sending this off to Marty for submission to NCS, and off to the land of PCGS for certification. This coin came from a ste that was in a box of 25 that was never opened from the mint.....Ken
